Mugsy & Pandora
We have had such a great experience with Carol's Special Ragdolls. We have a male and a female. The first time we went to their house to see the kittens and to see what type of people Carol and her family were, we ended up staying for about 2 hours - talk about making ourselves at home with complete strangers! They were very welcoming and oh my - the cats! We went crazy. The little male kitten (Mugsy) we had her hold for us immediately took to our 2 children which is exactly what we wanted to see. There was a 6-month old female that Carol was going to breed because she was considered a perfect blue mitted lynx. She fell in love with my husband and stayed right by him the entire visit. Long story short, Carol saw how Pandora was bonding with my husband and finally agreed to sell her to us! We were so happy! Carol is in constant contact with us and has answered numerous questions we have had. Previously, we had two rescued cats who were great pets but there is just no comparison to these two. We send her pictures and she has just been a great help. As we watched her hand over her kitty's to us, you can clearly see that she is attached to all of them and makes sure that the kittens/cats are going to a home with lots of love, care, and knowing they are safe are so important to her. We will definitely refer others to her to purchase a kitten and we will always be in touch with her in the years to come. I would love a 3rd ragdoll, however, I'm having a tough time convincing my husband!!!

Sammy & Rambo
I had never heard of a Ragdoll cat until my son came home from work one day and told me about this beautiful cat someone had brought in for a checkup. He works for a veterinarian. I already had one older, female, long haired tuxedo cat at the time, but my son got me curious. I researched the breed throughly and immediately fell in love. Next step was to research reputable breeders. I knew I did not want a breeder that was not a reasonable driving distance since I preferred to pick up a kitten. I emailed and spoke to several breeders. I liked Carol and John with Tristate Ragdoll Cattery. Carol answered all of my questions. All of Tristate's kittens are socialized and constantly interact with Carol's three children and the other cats and kittens. We have a 3 yr old male, Seal Point named Sammy and a 2 yr old Blue Lynx named Rambo. I still keep in touch with Carol and update her on our furry kids.
I believe the Ragdoll cat breed has a very docile and natural affectionate personality. They are the most easy-going of all cat breeds. Ragdolls are large cats and have long, beautiful fur. The cats got their name from the fact that they tend to go completely relaxed and limp when picked up. They love people and purr all of the time.
I think Ragdolls are the best cats and I would get another one if my husband would only say, Yes!

I love my Ragdoll from Carol

I first emailed Carol to get one of her babies this past Summer of 2009. I was so impressed with her website. I made an appointment to see her babies. You could tell they were use to Carol and her kids. They ran, played and oh so soft. I made arrangements to take a blue lynx male home with us. We just fell in love. We picked up our Baby about 4 weeks latter and we are just in love with him. When I am ready to get another one.. I will be sure to get one from Carol.
