Tall Cat Scratching Post by Felix Katnip Tree CompanyTall Sisal Cat Scratching Post Unboxing Video

As many of you know, we reviewed the Felix Katnip Cat Tree Company’s horizontal scratcher months and months ago.  The cats STILL use it daily and run to it when I come downstairs in the morning.  There are always cat claw nail shards by the scratcher when I vacuum.

So I reached out to Felix Katnip Tree Company to see if we could try out one of their vertical scratchers – I requested the one with the ledge on top – you’ll see why right at the beginning of our unboxing/arrival video below.

It was super easy to put together and the cats liked it immediately.  I am super excited about this one – as the cats have already used it multiple times a day for several days.

Do you have one of their cat scratchers?  How does your kitty like it?

You can wait for our full review in the coming weeks or buy it now.

That is an AMAZING price – I’m tempted to buy one but I’m going to wait for your full review!

You know what would be awesome? If they sold it with 2 “bases” – one for the bottom and one for the top. That way when the sisal at the top is frayed but the bottom is still looking good you could flip it or if you’re proactive flip it every day/week to keep the wear even. Bonus, the cats would have an even larger please to hang out.

Great idea! I am guessing this could easily be done if you reached out to them and asked. And you’re welcome to do whatever, but I can tell you now this will get a rave review. They use it multiple times a day already.

You guys are so adorable! Just love Charlie and Trigg playing with each other while they are inspecting their new scratcher! Looks like a really sturdy and good quality scratcher. Can’t wait for the review!♥♥♥

  4. Totally agree with everyone, Jenny! Great product arrival video and Charlie & Trigg were so super adorable in the video (as usual)! Looks like such a high quality and beautiful vertical scratcher! Lurve that Charlie couldn’t wait to perch on the top! lol 🙂

Eagerly awaiting the final product review video! I’m really impressed with their products you have reviewed so far. I have had my eye on that horizontal scratcher since your review. Just trying to figure out where to put one in our tiny apartment…lol 🙂

    Big hugs!

If Ms. PSB likes to scratch up, then the Beam is her answer!

      • She’s definitely more of a horizontal scratcher than vertical scratcher for sure! Don’t know if she’d enjoy laying on her back and scratching up like Triggy does with the Beam but there’s only one way to find out… Definitely going to get her a new horizontal scratcher as my next big purchase for her. Will let you know what I get. I’m leaning more towards an infinity type cardboard scratcher as I know she enjoys those so much and it would probably get used more but I love the look of the Beam, too! Decisions, decisions…. 🙂 <3

        • Jenny says:

hmmmm…they really are different scratchers although they are both horizontal. the infinity one will double as a bed, whereas the beam for Charlie, for example, is more like a run-by scratcher…Chiggy will spend a little more time on his back scratching on it. I think of it as a different station to get out emotion (they say cats scratch to release emotions and also to stretch, etc) and it’s always curious to me which scratcher they run to when I have them all amped up about something.
