Scoopable Feline Fresh

The folks over at PlanetWise Products sent us a 6 lbs. bag of their New Scoopable Feline Fresh Natural Pine Cat Litter to try out.

Scoopable Feline Fresh is a great smelling litter – never in my life did I think I’d say that!  The second you pour it from the resealable zipper bag, you smell the pine.

The litter absorbed Trigg’s pee on contact, and I couldn’t smell his potent cat urine either.  I know I sound like a commercial, but I am seriously impressed with the odor control of this product.

I also like the fact that it is environmentally friendly.  It is biodegradable, so you can flush the scoops down the toilet.

As you can see in the videos below, I gave Charlie and Trigg the option between their normal clay litter or the Scoopable Feline Fresh.  They usually chose the clay, but if I put them in the Feline Fresh, they would go ahead and use it.  So I think if I had Feline Fresh on both sides, then they would have used it because there was no other choice.

The folks at PlanetWise Products say if you are going to introduce your cats to Feline Fresh that you should pour tow inches of the litter into the pan and then cover than with one inch of the brand you are currently using – and not to stir.  I, of course, didn’t do this, but the cats accepted it anyway.

I would totally recommend this product because of the odor control, the eco-friendly approach and because of how fast the clumps form.
