Scaredy Cut Cat Grooming Tool

Scaredy Cut Cat Grooming Tool

Years ago we did a review on the Scaredy Cut Cat Grooming Tool. As a reader put it, it’s a comb with scissors on it that allows you to trim your kitty’s hair and also gets out mats. The huge advantage of it is that it is more or less “silent” – it doesn’t have that buzzing sound that can freak some kitties out like electric clippers bring.  We reviewed it years ago when it first came out on the market and continue to see it’s success years later.

Here is our review video from years ago:

Buy the Scaredy Cut Cat Comb and Scissors

Buy the Scaredy Cut for $35.

It’s pretty cool because Scaredy Cut offers lot of buying options on Amazon with other great cat products like the Scaredy Cut Silent Pet Clipper with Safari Cat Shedding Comb, Wood Handle. We reviewed the Safari Cat Shedding Comb with a Wood Handle too – and I love it.

See all of their buying options here.

Have you used the Scaredy Cut on your kitty?  How do you like it?  If you don’t use it, what’s your favorite cat grooming tool and why?

Awesome info, Jenny! Thank you so much! I’ve had this on my Wish List since a very good FB friend told me about this. So glad to see this post with your recommendation, too. I’m definitely getting this in 2016 as it will certainly help I think when we have to trim the pantaloons area on our Miss Pink Sugarbelle! 🙂 <3

    Big hugs & Happy Holidays!!!

hi patti, i love that a FB friend told you about it – s/he must use it for their kitty? What do they use it for in general, do you know?

      • Patti Johnson says:

She has many kittehs in her home as she’s a retired Ragdoll breeder. I think you may know her (Peg from Meridowicz Ragdolls). She uses the tool when she needs to remove mats and trim whatever is needed. 🙂 <3
