Petmate Jackson Galaxy Collection Go Fish Cat Toy Product Review

Petmate Jackson Galaxy Go Fish Cat Toy Cat Puzzle Toy Product Review - FloppycatsWe were sent a nice big box of Jackson Galaxy cat toys from Petmate a few months ago.  Included in that batch was the Go Fish puzzle cat toy.  The Go Fish is a blue melamine plate with holes in it.  In the holes, you insert rubbery (silicon) fish tales which act as obstacles for your kitty to get quickly to their food.  They have to use their paws and their minds in order to get to their food.

Of course, the Petmate Jackson Galaxy Collection Go Fish Cat Toy is targeted towards dry food eaters, which I talk about in the final review video.  I am not a fan of feeding cats dry food.  So I reviewed this more as a treat puzzle toy.

It is dishwasher safe, which makes it easy to keep clean.

If you have a kitty that gets feline acne really easily, then I wouldn’t recommend this toy because it is made of plastic and silicon and will perpetuate the acne problem, as I mention in the final review video.  In other words, Trigg is prone to acne, so he would not do well with this toy over time.  However, Charlie has never had an acne problem and therefore would be just fine with the Go Fish puzzle cat toy.

You can buy the Petmate Jackson Galaxy Go Fish Cat Toy on Amazon.

We asked Petmate to make a $200 product equivalent donation to the non-for-profit organization, Kitty City NM, in exchange for the review of their Jackson Galaxy collection products. We received the Petmate Jackson Galaxy Collection Go Fish Cat Toy for review from the manufacturer. Receiving the free product and Petmate’s donation to Kitty City NM did not influence this post.
