Nina Ottosson Dog Tornado Cat Puzzle Toy 264x300 Nina Ottosson Dog Tornado Cat Puzzle Toy ReviewCharlie is no stranger to the Nina Ottosson Cat Puzzle Toys – he mastered the Dog Spinny and the Dog Brick already.  So when The Company of Animals offered to send us their Dog Tornado, I was willing to give it a try.

Nina Ottosson Dog Tornado Cat Puzzle Toy is a toy that rotates and exposes different compartments to allow your kitty to have access to treats.  You can load the toy up with bones to make it a little more difficult for the kitty to operate.  The only way to get to the treats is to remove the bones and rotate each level of the cat puzzle toy.

Nina Ottosson Dog Tornado Cat Puzzle Toy ReviewWhy I like this puzzle toy for cats:

  • It’s mentally stimulating for them
  • It helps them get exercise and work for their food like they would in nature
  • It’s dishwasher safe (the plastic version is – the wood version, I am not sure about).

I think this is a more challenging puzzle toy – so if you have not tried out a beginner level like the Dog Spinny, I wouldn’t recommend the Dog Tornado Cat Puzzle Toy until your kitty has mastered the other level.  But you might also know your kitty well enough to know if you think they could master it.
