Loo Loo and the Fabulous Marvelous Rexxaroo Children’s Cat Book Review
Helene Sola, the author of Loo Loo and the Fabulous Marvelous Rexxaroo, sent me a copy of the book as well as the two craft-type kits that come with it for review.
I was excited to receive them because it reminded me much of my childhood. My mom always bought special books and even more so, books that had something with them – in this case, this children’s cat book has a sew-your-own sock cat as well as a sew-your-own felt cat kit to go with it. Both of these are sold separately. I hope that Helene will put together a package deal as I think this is so cute sold as a kit.
I totally recommend this book that is written in rhythm and rhyme and at least one of the two kits that is made to go along with it – but getting both kits isn’t a bad idea either – they are both so precious and well-thought out! This would be a great gift to your child or to your niece/nephew or to your grandchild. I also think this would be an ideal gift for a birthday party.
Rexxaroo is the name of Helene’s real cat – an orange tabby. You can see the video that explains more here. Helene adopted Rex from an animal shelter and now a portion of the profits will go towards supporting that shelter.
