JW Pet Gripsoft Rotating Comfort Cat Comb Product Review

JW Pet Company 5-Inch Gripsoft Rotating Comfort CombWe have reviewed a number of the JW Pet Grip Soft grooming tools:

I did not know these two combs existed until a reader alerted me to the fact that rotating teeth might help my cats (who hate to be brushed and combed) tolerate brushing/combing.  And after using this comb for a number of weeks, the rotating teeth absolutely do help – but my cats still hate being brushed and combed.

The 360 degree rotating teeth on the comb do help with their fur NOT being pulled as much, so they seem to tolerate this comb more.  It is supposed to untangle mats and snarls and loosen a dense coat.  I like to use it on their tails and on their manes, as you’ll see in the final review video below.

I will definitely be keeping the medium JW Pet Company 5-Inch Gripsoft Rotating Comfort Comb – I like to keep it in my drawer in the kitchen and quickly grab it when I see the cats’ manes are a mess.

I had been using a rotating comb for years on my Ragdolls, and it absolutely does help with not pulling the fur. I lost my last Ragdoll, Bandit, last October but have a long-haired Tortie I use it on. She loves it. I bought mine on eBay a few years ago. It’s made by Bamboo. Mine has a retractable handle so you can use it with or without the handle.

Love the video of you guys as always. Nice comb and will add it to our growing list. My girls love me to brush them with a human hairbrush, so if I say, “brush you,” they all come running to be brushed! It’s one with plastic bristles and think it kinda massages them. Since none of them mat so far, have been able to get away with doing that and then going over it with a double row comb that really does a great job at getting the undercoat out without pulling. ♥♥♥♥

Rags loved a human hair brush – even rubbing it with his scent glands – miss having a kitty that enjoys brushing! glad mine have good coats that don’t necessarily need the brushing!

My cats love to be brushed. I prefer a comb, they like either.I tap the comb or brush on my desk and they come running! This looks really nice. Hope they get one in their Christmas stocking!
