Jackson Galaxy Cat Behaviorist is coming to Kansas City on May 8, 2013 to promote the paperback of his book, Cat Daddy: What the World’s Most Incorrigible Cat Taught Me About Life, Love, and Coming Clean.
Kansas City is the home of Floppycats.com, so I will be there.
The reception will be at 5PM, May 8 at Unity on the Plaza. Jackson’s going to give a special private Cat Mojo talk to those attending. He’s so good at this cat behavior thing that I think it’s a great opportunity for local shelters to get some tips for cat behavior and enrichment.
All proceeds raised by ticket sales will be equally split between 6 organizations:
- Spay & Neuter Kansas City
- The Kansas City Pet Project
- The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City
- HELP Humans of Belton
- Great Plains SPCA
- Wayside Waifs
The tickets are $50, but that includes an autographed copy of the book, a chance to meet Jackson, the private Cat Mojo talk, plus the reception will serve wine and hors d’ouvres. And anyone who purchases a ticket to the reception gets a reserved seat at the author event that follows.
The $50 tickets for the reception are at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/6234516607
If you’d rather just go to the author event, you can buy those tickets for $15.95 at Rainy Day Books’ website, http://www.rainydaybooks.com/CatDaddy
You can buy Cat Daddy: What the World’s Most Incorrigible Cat Taught Me About Life, Love, and Coming Clean from Amazon.
