Kitties have always been a part of my life. I just love their personality, so independent , so stylish!

Please describe your creative process.

I am blessed in that I am able to see a finish product in my mind before I even began, patiently I nurture my creativity by taking time to carefully create my pieces. A lot of my creations are out of my own necessity and love of working with my hands! But I do have to confess that I get great inspiration from Pottery Barn, and Ballard Designs.
I saw a segment on the Martha Stewart Show. Martha was showcasing items from ETSY, I said now there a place I can show case all my ideas and creativity.

Have you been successful at selling your products on Etsy? Have you always been successful, or did you end up getting a lot more traffic after being featured on a specific blog?

This is the first time I will be featured on a blog! I would definitely call my Etsy shop a success, not due to the sales, but the contacts I have made!

Do your customers ever give you new ideas for products?

Yes. I do custom listing for my customers with hassle free returns.

Can you share a story with us behind any of your products that you especially enjoyed working on? Maybe because of the story behind the kitty?

I have been creating, designing, sewing, crocheting, painting and building since I was a teen. I sold my first hand painted chair over 20 years ago – Wow where did the time go!

I have been watching DIY shows since they have been on the air. I watched Martha Stewart, Lanett Jennings to Christopher Lowell and Nate Burks’s mom when she had a show in the 80’s on a Dallas TV station. I drove my family crazy saying these words (I know how to do that) I came from humble means, with hand me downs and hade made items. Working with wood for me has to be the best medium, just think, from a single piece of wood, the possibilities are endless on what you can create! I truly get lost in the moment with building, painting and sewing. God gave me the two most wonderful gifts, IMAGATION and CREATIVITY. How Blessed am I.

Note: I am a self-proclaimed queen of the power tools!!!

  1. Candice Wright says:

Is it possible to make the French style bunk beds large enough to accommodate a full size dachshund on the bottom bunk and two big cats on the top bunk? (Also, we wouldn’t need the custom writing and decoration on the back of the bunk) Please advise and also if you could provide the price for it plus shipping that’d be great! Thank you!
