The last time I took my bicolor Ragdoll to the vet I sat in the waiting room and read about the health benefits of pet probiotics. I was surprised by the pamphlet that was available because I had never before heard of pet probiotics. Prior to reading the brochure I had only heard of probiotics in yogurt in association with digestive health for humans. I would not feed my bicolor Ragdoll human food, but I did remember seeing cat snacks with yogurt inside them. I kept reading until the vet called my pet’s name.
As the vet was examining my beautiful bicolor Ragdoll I inquired about the use of pet probiotics. He explained that digestive health is imperative in animals, especially in aging pets and that animals of all ages could benefit from the use of products that included pet probiotics.
As I left the vets office I wondered about the best product to use for digestive health for my feline friend. I did research at home and found that iFlora pet probiotics seemed to be highly recommended and came in both capsule or powder form so it can easily be added to food or given whole.
Do you use iFlora Multi-Probiotic for Cats? How would you rank it’s performance?
