“I love it outside, but I hate fleas!”

Happy Earth Day 2017!  It is so important to recognize, support and appreciate our planet Earth.  One of the ways to do that, of course, is to enjoy it without harming it.  I thought of writing a post about 5 Ways to Honor Our Earth with Your Cat – thinking how you can recycle their canned cat food cans, reuse their cat hair to make scarves and more, and also reuse plastic grocery bags for their cat litter waste – but then ultimately decided that sharing a video of them outside might be more fun.

Charlie, Trigg and I are fortunate enough to enjoy outside daily.  And since, Saturdays are for older videos…here are a few older ones of our jaunts outside.  Hope you enjoy and Happy Earth Day!

Here’s one with Caymus and Murphy:

How do you appreciate/show gratitude towards Mother Earth with your kitty?

  1. Happy Earth Day to you, Jenny, and all The Floppycatters Of The World! 🙂 <3

Oh, how I truly enjoyed watching these older videos of Charlie & Trigg when they were just babies!!! Soooo cute! That little chirp and mew of Charlie's just made my heart melt! And the ever pouncing young Chiggy! Such energy! I sure miss those kittens days, don't you? 🙂 <3

And, I always adore watching videos of Caymus & Murphy. That older outside video of them was lovely! Their tails twitching in unison at times….ADORABLE! The fact that they explore together is truly charming and makes sense, as you pointed out, for protection and safety (hunting in a pack type of thing). Wonderful video! 🙂 <3

Thank you so much for sharing these older videos with us! A truly great tribute to Floppycats Earth Day celebration! Purrfect choice! 🙂 <3

Big hugs & lots of love!

    1. P.S. I totally missed your question at the bottom…lol. How do we cherish Mother Earth with our kitty? Well, we don’t take her outside as we have no yard and we’ve never attempted to leash train her. Too many dogs being walked outside a lot in our apartment community so I just don’t have the confidence of her being safe on a leash as I don’t know what would happen and don’t want to risk it. We do try to order her supplies and toys from companies who recycle and re-use and have sustainable business practices, though, as much as our budget will allow. I guess that’s pretty much it for us!
