Glacier Point Fountains For Cats

As you may recall, we were sent a Perfect Pet Fountain from Glacier Point Fountains For Cats.  I was unable to review it because my Ragdoll cats, Charlie and Trigg, do not drink water regularly/daily due their all wet food diet.  So, I took it to my sister’s house to try with her cats, however, they were transitioning from dry and wet food to wet food only, so they weren’t interested in drinking water enough (meaning where I could get footage for a review video).  So, I phoned my cousin, Mary, in Colorado who is currently going to vet tech school.  I knew she would appreciate the high-end Perfect Pet Fountain and asked her if she wanted to try it with her pets – an older domestic kitty and a dog.  She reports that the dog is loving it and that her kitty randomly drinks from it – but she hasn’t been able to get a photo.  She hopes to get photos of her pup drinking from it, though, and if she does, I will post on our Facebook page.

I do like to support cat fountains for those kitties that eat dry food or that have health issues that require drinking water more frequently – like kidney disease, thyroid disease and diabetes.  Given the passion, research and science Glacier Point Fountains puts into their fountains, I do believe they are some of the best out there.  And hey, they are made in the USA – which this American always likes.

Glacier Point Pet Fountains currently offers 5 different kinds of cat fountains that you can buy.  They are listed below.

The The Spectrum Fountain (1) is their economy line of cat fountains.  Then their next best is The Basic Fountain (2), followed by their best cat fountain, The Perfect Cat Fountain (3).  The Perfect Cat Fountain (3) has a chiller to keep the water at a constant state of cool that the The Basic Fountain (2) does not.  The High Capacity Basic Cat and Dog Water Fountain (4) has a deeper ceramic basin than the Perfect Cat Fountain (3) and the High Capacity Pet Fountain With Chiller (5) has a chilling device installed to keep the temperature of the water cool.

They have a comprehensive website that explains the technology behind what they do.

These look wonderful and are very quality made. Watched the videos on Glacier Point website and they have taken a lot of care and thought everything through to make the best products possible. Only problem I have is that my cats refuse to drink from a fountain. Have already had 2 and they are back up on the shelf because they didn’t get any use. Just gave up and add a can of water to each one’s wet food at each meal. For cats that just eat dry food, one of these could be the difference between kidney failure or not. Thanks for the review Jenny! Know many kitties will love these!♥♥♥
