I finished a felt mouse toy for my neighbors cat today (I actually made it a few years ago as a Christmas ornament, I just altered it & replaced the stuffing with catnip) and was wondering if anyone else has ever made home toys.

Hehe I've tried… but couldn't figure out the sewing machine (I know, so embarrassing!). I do make "puzzle boxes" for the cats. Basically I take a cardboard box and cut little holes, and put things inside of it – treats, toys, balls, etc – so they can dig around for it.

Yeah, I'm planning on donating half of the toys to a shelter (I'll also make dog toys) and the rest will be sold once school calms down a bit. So maybe early next year, as I'll have fundraisers, concerts, vacation, AND a kitten to worry about. Of course, I still have to find my jingle bells (How can I loose 15 jumbo jingle bells?!) and the rest of my felt.
