I'm getting a cat probably in the next few months, I've been searching for the perfect litter. I've read a few articles on Moderncat.com about the dangers of clay litter and wish more people knew about this – all of the people I know that have cats use clay litter. So I started looking for natural littlers and found four kinds: corn (Which, of course, can attract bugs/rodents and has GMO), wheat (Has GMO and can be dusty), pine (I'm a bit confused by the whole "sawdust" thing), and paper. So after a lot of thinking, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna use Yesterday's News.

Long story short, has anyone here used Yesterday's News? If so, pros and cons, please! sf smile Ragdoll Cat Forum

Hi Makayla!

Ah yeah… all the details of each litters pros/cons are so overwhelming and confusing hehe. I don't use Yesterday's News because we found with four cats, it's just not powerful enough to control the odors, even though I loved that it wasn't dusty like clay. However my best friend uses it for her one cat and it's totally awesome for them. I think if you're going to stick with one or two cats, you'll be good to go with Yesterday's News icon smile Ragdoll Cat Forum

Yeah, I didn't think it'd be the best at odor control, but at least that's really the only drawback. Thanks! sf smile Ragdoll Cat Forum
