Many cat owners look for bowls for their cats that will also accomodate whisker fatigue.  To be honest, I did not know what it was until I had this website.  Whisker fatigue is when a kitty’s whiskers are very sensitive and they don’t like to touch the sides of a bowl.  Sometimes it can be just annoying, but for some cats it’s actually painful.  Dr. Catsby’s has come up with a beautiful solution to this painful problem for some kitties – the Dr. Catsby’s Bowl for Whisker Fatigue.  A video is posted below, if you are interested in learning more.

I’ve had cats forever and have never heard of whisker fatigue. However, I have known for years that cats don’t like to eat out of bowls where their whiskers touch while eating. Perhaps the fatigue comes in when they keep them pulled back? Not sure and haven’t read up on the subject. I feed my three off of Pottery Barn appetizer plates – problem solved. I may just have to pick up a few of these bowls, though – I like the rubber bottom. The plates tend to ‘clack’ against the tile floor when they are chowing down and I hear it in the middle of the night at times!
