Contempo Treat Dispenser Giveaway Sponsored by!

| November 16, 2012 | 51 Comments

The holidays are soon approaching and we all know how important  exercise is at keeping the weight off – well, the same goes for our kitties!  When approached me and asked me if I would be interested in doing a giveaway for the Contempo Cat Food & Treat Dispenser, I was definitely interested!

There are a lot of overweight kitties out there (usually because of dry food =( ) – so things like the Contempo Cat Food & Treat Dispenser help kitties work for their food and burn calories while the forage for it.

  5. D. Fullerton says:

I have a diabetic kitty that had to switch to wet food. This would be a great way for her to get exercise & work for her treats.

  6. Fiona W says:

My little guy can chomp down 8 treats while my bigger one is still working on his 1st! This will definitely help him slow down and enjoy the tasty tidbits.

  7. jayedee says:

i subscribe via email and i love to provide enrichment activities for the furkids! this seems like fun!

  8. AM Stewart says:

Not to be negative, but has anybody thought about what a mess this “toy” could be? Unless you intend to follow after your kitty while he/she bats it all around the house, you are likely to end up with bits of cat treats in the oddest places. Where there is undisturbed food, it won’t take ants long to find it.

If you want your cat to get exercise, buy a stick with a toy on the end or make one yourself. I spend 30 minutes each evening exercising my brood, as the “chase” to them is more fun than actually catching the toy at the end of the string.

    • Shadow Dance Ranch Kittehs says:

Purrrrrrfect idea 🙂 We love the chase! Especially the red dot thingy Momma has for us. Everytime she opens *that* drawer, we come running.

  9. Amanda Wilson says:

My pudgy kitty Tao would love this!

  10. Lisa Salewsky says:

I have a 16 pound rag doll that loves to eat. I would like to give this a try. Thanks for the offer and giving me the chance to win one of these.

  13. Marci Cornelius says:

This would be great for my cat, Adam

  14. Susan Marie says:

My three yr old and six month old ragdolls would love this. The kitten keeps the older one one playing more.

  15. Angie Panda says:

I know a tubby cat that could benefit the calorie burning effects of this dispenser instead of just munching out of the bowl or plate for the dry and wet food put out for him.

  16. Lisa Barrett says:

This looks fun! We have a kitty who’re we’ve switched to wet food but who still cries for a little bit of daily kibble treat. So we give him less than an 1/8th c. that we will scatter over the floor so he has to hunt and peck. This toy looks like a much better and more fun idea. Thank you for the giveaway!

  17. Margot C says:

I like all of these treat dispenser toys (we have some Amazing Treat Machine Rollers). This one looks particularly well designed I must say and comes in iMac colors!

  18. Betty Wells says:

I would love this for my Jynxx because the vet said put him on a diet. Sometimes he will gobble up his kibble and beg for more.

  19. Kelly Ann T. says:

I would like to see Yoshi play with this, we have interactive toys for our dogs but nothing for poor Yoshi.

  20. Jessica R. says:

My Coconut loves treats, so this would be great for her!

  21. Cathy B says:

All six of my kitties would love to play with this. They all love treats

This is so awesome! My. Reggie’s wold love one. If we don’t win where can we buy one?

    Gidget and Piper

  23. shelia love says:

I’m sure my kitties Madame Butterfly,Bella Luna,Christian Grey and Mootch McLovin would LOVE this !!!

  24. anything that allows us to get treats while playing sounds great to us!

  25. Nicki says:

I would love to win this for my cat Boots. While he may not need to lose the weight, I just think that this would be fun for him. He loves to play, and eat. Perfect combo!

  26. My kitty needs this! Not because she’s overweight (I monitor her weight carefully) but because she’s too smart. She already figured out how to roll the treat ball she has in a circle to get all the treats out as fast as possible. Anything new to keep her entertained and mentally stimulated is very welcome in my house.

  27. Marissa says:

I have a cat who is obsessed with food and tends to eat way too quickly. She could really benefit from this, as it could keep her entertained as well as slow down her eating.

  28. Teresa says:

Would be a wonderful addition to make my 3 floppycats work a little for their treats. Thanks for the giveaway.

  29. Kim A says:

My cats range from 16lbs to 25lbs (They’re a bit chubby, but mainly just big cats). This would be great for them since they have a Temptaions addiction and I always give in when I get ‘The look’ when I go into the kitchen. Fun giveaway-thank you!

  30. Shadow Dance Ranch Kittehs says:

We don’t think this is a very good idea for us, but Momma says it is necessary, if we want to keep getting treats. She says there are too many *tiger bellies* here at the Ranch. It is either this or we have to start doing more chores (which does not include napping). 🙂

  31. Cindy says:

What a fun little idea! I think my boys would have a great time trying to get at their treats! Good Fun!

  32. Betty says:

Entertainment for when I am out! Stocking stuffer for sure – along with that cute Robo-fish! Thanks, Jenny!

  33. Andrea says:

My very first Ragdoll is coming the week before Christmas….I’d like to treat her
    to new treats. =)

  34. Jenny says:

Bear has been gaining weight over the past few months. This could do him so good!

  35. Robin Thatcher says:

I foster cats/kittens in addition to our own cats and this toy would be a great way for them to play with each other. I love when they find one piece of kibble and shoot it about the floor. This would make it so much more fun for them–and it wouldn’t get eaten so fast!

  36. Robin says:

Ariel, my Ragdoll, loves to play and loves to eat! This sounds like a fun combination of the two!

  37. Dorothy Silecchia says:

Romeo and me would enjoy getting one.

  38. Mindy says:

What a great way to keep my kitty clan of 8 in shape!

  39. CathyH says:

Love to get my cats to work a little for a treat

  40. This would be a great way to entertain my 5 cats

  41. Kate D. says:

This would be great for my cat Gretchen – her vet says she has put on some pre-holiday weight…

I would love this for my kitten just so I can watch him be cute. :3

    Our Ragdoll would love this.

  46. Thanks, my 5 cats will love this toy

  47. Judith McKnight says:

    Who one the drawing????

  48. Judith McKnight says:

I meant, “Who WON the drawing?”

    • Jenny says:

Judith, as always, all winners have been emailed. Since I only have their email addresses, I do not know who they are until they respond, which usually takes about 3 days. So I don’t have an answer for you today – but three “names” (i.e. email addresses) were drawn and notified – as I indicated on Facebook. Thanks!
