]]> Comment on The Gifts Our Cats Leave for Us by Eli http://www.floppycats.com/the-gifts-our-cats-leave-for-us.html#comment-45771 Eli Tue, 21 May 2013 06:23:46 +0000 http://www.floppycats.com/?p=13453#comment-45771 my Mia would drown her prey too! i had found dead lizards in the toilet and in a mop bucket i had left full all night. i thought the lizards were just falling in by themselves but then one day i actually caught Mia in the act of trying to drown a lizard in a bucket of water. i shoulda known it was her! i always found her toys in her water bowls too. i miss my little Mia… My outdoor cat is Katy. the only time she was an indoor cat was when Mia was alive cause Katy always wanted to be with Mia ever since i adopted her. this was weird since Katy had never gotten along with any other cats and Mia was much younger than her. Katy is now 11 years old and i wish she would stay indoors again but she refuses and throws a fit when i lock her in the house for more than a couple hours. she used to be a great hunter catching everything from mice to birds in mid air. now she mostly lays around and even watches pigeons eat leftovers from her bowl. they arent scared of her anymore.
