Mr Darcy

I always thought I was allergic to cats… as a child my mother would tell me off because I couldn’t resist petting cats and would come home sneezing with red blotchy eyes!

Jasmine – Ragdoll of the Week

by Jenny on June 13, 2011

I always wanted a Ragdoll, from the first time I read about them in Cat Fancy magazine over twenty years ago.

Ted – Ragdoll of the Week

by Jenny on December 6, 2010

Ted is a great pet, cuddly and warm, although I don’t really want him in my bath, which he has tried more then once.

Chiko, Roman, Ari – Ragdolls of the Week

by Jenny on October 25, 2010

From a very young age, I have simply adored cats… I have so many cherished moments of my Domestic Shorthair Annie, staring up at me with her beautiful eyes, with her loud motor going. And of course those freakishly cold winter nights, when she would curl up in bed and smooch for hours on end.

Takoda – Ragdoll Of The Week

by Jenny on June 28, 2010

For years I’ve always wanted a cat to call my own, however it always seemed I couldn’t find one that was compatible to be around dogs. One day a friend called and said they were having a cat show in my area so I jumped at the
chance to go on the website about the show.

Jaska – Ragdoll of the Week

by Jenny on May 3, 2010

I got Jaska (IC Snowrag Northern Lights) from my very dear breeder friend Sirpa, from the Snowrag cattery. My ragdoll boy Prince (IC&Pr Icedoll Snow Prince) and Sirpa’s female Siiri (IC Starfire Snow Goddess) had a son together.

Silia and Sophie – Ragdolls of the Week

by Jenny on April 26, 2010

In 2005, we lost our Maine Coon cat, Toonces, to poor health and old age. We were heartbroken, and we were seeking out another breed of cat to fill our hearts and our home. We went to a local cat show in Des Moines, Iowa. There we found a breed of cat that we instantly fell in love with Ragdoll cats.

Pandora – Ragdoll of the Week

by Jenny on April 19, 2010

Pandora is a pure-bred, seal-mitted Ragdoll, born February 18, 2003, at a New York breeder. Today she is seven years old. Her story might not be what you expect – but it has a wonderful ending. I promise!

Millie – Ragdoll of the Week

by Jenny on April 12, 2010

We got interested in a Ragdoll after we lost our first two kitties. They were each 16 when medical issues caught up with them, and we had to put them down. Hooligan was adopted from a neighbor; she was a psycho-cat that we kept only because we knew that she wouldn’t be adoptable.
