Cat Products That We Review That We Keep

A reader wrote me the other day, asking me if I kept all the cat products that we review.  Our home is small, so we don’t have room for everything, but we do keep a lot of items.  I decide to keep them based on the following criteria:

  • If Charlie or Trigg or Charlie and Trigg like it
  • If I like it (and if I like it more than something we already have that is comparable – like a cardboard cat scratcher)
  • If it is used on a regular basis

Many of our photos on Floppycats Facebook page will show what we still have.  Here is the list of items we’ve reviewed that are currently still in our home (they are hyper-linked to the original review on the site).  I literally walked around my house with my phone to make this list as I didn’t think I would be able to remember everything.  I probably still forgot some things.

I guess the next logical question would be what do you do with the items you don’t keep? Do you donate them to a shelter?

Love this, but here’s my question: Your staples list doesn’t include a wand toy – but you have kept EVERY wand toy – and I have to think they are used nearly daily at least. Which wand toy is the favorite and why?
