Kmart has a great selection of pet Halloween costumes this year.  They sent me a gift card, so that I could shop online and in store to pick out the perfect cat Halloween costumes for Charlie and Trigg.

So I went to the Kmart in Rochester, MN -and had a look at all their cool Halloween stuff – I think my favorite Halloween decoration from Kmart was one called “Marcus the Carcus” – and that’s just because of the name of it!  Still makes me laugh.

I have grown up in a family that decorates – in fact, my parents still decorate their front hallway every year for the trick-o-treaters that come to their door!

Since I didn’t have Charlie and Trigg with me to measure, I guessed on a small and it was too small:

Thank goodness every costume comes with instructions on how to measure your kitty, so we measured:

Turns out, Charlie needed a medium and so did Trigg.

Since the pet Halloween costumes in their store were slim pickins, I decided I would order a few costumes online – and also thought it would be a good way to give you an idea of how easy it is to order online!

We ordered the following costumes to try out:

Since shipping was free, we paid only for the costumes themselves and tax (since there is a Kmart in my state).

They were on sale when we ordered them, so they were only $7.99/each.  However, if you look at them today, you’ll notice they are on sale for $6.99/each because there’s a 25% off Sale on Halloween costumes.

Check out all of Kmart’s Sales no matter what day it is.

The costumes arrived in two shipments and arrived days after I ordered them.  Which was really quick!

I decided to try all of them on Charlie since he is larger than Trigg.  Look how freakin’ cute they are!

You’ll notice on the back there is a slit so you can use a leash – so, if you leash your kitty or pup and want to bring s/he with you while you trick-o-treat, then it will be easy to bring them along in their costume too!

Which costume do you like the best?  Do you think you will get a cat Halloween costume this year?

I hate to tell you this, but Charlie looks to be giving you the “evil eye” in a couple of those costumes (the “ghoul Pumpkin” and “Ghoul Devil.)” You better watch out to see what “trick” you are getting this Halloween from him 🙂

    • Jenny says:

you’re right, MeLinda. I always hold and talk to him after this and tell him, “You know you’re gorgeous and all those people on Floppycats love seeing how beautiful you are, thank you for letting me take pictures of you today – you are so handsome.” And then he’s fine with it and there are no tricks up his sleeve!

OMGosh, I LOVE Charlie in his costumes!! 😀 (I’m torn between Charlie-the-Pumpkin and Charlie-the-Devil for favorite; the bright colors are so gorgeous against his beautiful fur…)
In our house, dressing up at Halloween is definitely something we do for *me*… Boomer, I’m sad to say, is less than thrilled, LOL (although he’s really a pretty good sport about it all). He’s been in costume–and we’ve posted Facebook albums of all the fun–the last two Halloweens, and I’m trying to decide between a couple of costumes for this year’s big day. 🙂

Oh, if I ever need a smile I can count on your website to give me one! Love the way you take care of your little ones Jenny! I don’t know if Mewsette would let me put one on, I should give it a try. She’s so fussy!
Now, to my fav costume. I looovvveee Charlie in the Pumpkin!!! What a ham he is!
The devil is so cute too, but pumpkin rules.
Now, oh my, the last white one, Jenny, reminds me of KKK!!! oh no!!!! LOL. Enjoy the Fall with your babies and sig other 🙂

    • Jenny says:

Thanks, Irene! I am sad it did – although Charlie’s eyes in those photos are pretty hilarious. I like Charlie the most in his pumpkin too! My boyfriend said the same thing about the ghost one and I wasn’t going to say that unless someone else noticed it – thank goodness, the cone is curved at the tip!

      • Irene says:

Yes, those bedroom eyes!!! Such a handsome Charlie! Does he try to wiggle out of the costumes? Would be great if didn’t and wore it for when the trick or treaters come around 🙂
