Necie,

Things to look out for also are - has the amount of pee in her litter box changed? In other words does she pee a lot more than normal? Are the clumps that you pull from the litter box a lot more?

My guess is at 3 years old she is OK - but if you are concerned at all, then you definitely want to take her to your vet and have her kidney values checked out.

My cat, Rags, drank water like your kitty and lived a healthy life until 16 - he got cancer - rec'd chemo and lived to 19.5.

My cat always comes to my bathroom sink and drinks a lot of water like twice a day! Is that good or bad? She's 3 years old and had a bladder infection before. Since that I have switched her to friskies can food. When she comes to drink water she always drinks a good bit then jumps down. I hope she's ok. She's not urinating outside of the litter box or anything and she still plays when she's in the mood for playing time.
