Charlie and Trigg Check Out the BISSELL Perfect Sweep Turbo

We were sent a Bissell Perfect Sweep Turbo Cordless Rechargeable Sweeper Model 2880-1 to review by Bissel and quite honestly, I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with it, but I did.

Here are some of the reason why this little vacuum rocks:

  • Brushes clean crumbs, dirt and pet hair on bare floor, tile and carpet
  • Up to 60 Minutes of cleaning time: long-life, rechargable battery
  • Trigg Checks Out the BISSELL Perfect Sweep Turbo

Versatile and Lightweight: Two edge brushes clean along baseboards and in corners

  • Handle lies flat for low reaching and for easy storage hanging in a closet or in a garage
  • Unit converts to handheld sweeper
  • Easy Quick Cleaning
  • Easy empty dirt cup
  • 1 year limited warranty
  • Looped handle for hanging
  • 12-inch cleaning path
  • Auto floor height adjustment

I love that I can pick up tiny messes on the fly – while I am cooking or while I am waiting for someone to arrive – it is easy.

The cats didn’t mind it either because it isn’t as loud as my Oreck, which they hate – Charlie is always one floor away from the Oreck when I am vacuuming and Trigg is always one room away.  With the Bissell, they are just a few feet away.

You can buy the Bissell Perfect Sweep Turbo online for $39.99 and it ships for free. Using the code “PERFECTSWEEPCAT” at checkout on bissell.com will give you $5 off a Perfect Sweep Turbo sweeper now through May 31, 2012.

Of course, if you find it for less someplace else, please do leave a comment about how much you found it for as well as a link to the site where you found it.

Below are some videos that I took during the review process.

You had the same reaction I did – I didn’t think I needed this sweeper, and didn’t even expect to like it. Now I can’t imaging what I ever did without it!

First thanks for responding to my comment. It’s nice when people do. Now on to my thoughts & questions.

I watched the vids you had on here & have to say I am also impressed w/what it can do based on what you did in the vids. I did mention in my comment about finding one that can get it out of carpet. You did do a bit in the vid w/carpet but my carpet is a bit shaggier than yours. In the living room it’s berber so it’s not too bad but in my room, where the cats litter box is, it’s your traditional carpet that dirt & such can get into. Do you feel this could pick it up?

I use a Dyson upright to vacuum & also use the accessories but I still see litter in the carpet. I’ve done a bit of research but am nervous about investing w/out more solid evidence. Thanks for your help.

I am not sure about it with longer carpet – I have asked the manufacturer’s rep to respond about that because I don’t have any to test it on. You might see if there are other videos on YouTube of it or other reviews to see if they tested it on longer carpet. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
