I love the AlphaPooch Siesta Cat Bowl in Natural cat bed. It is of high quality, machine washable and looks and feels cozy!
The foam core is covered in plush natural color synthetic lambskin.
We have already reviewed the AlphaPooch Siesta Cat Bed in the brown color, but I wanted to review the lighter color as well. While I would not usually opt for the lighter color, I have to say I like it more than the brown one simply because of the hair balling issue for me. If you watch the final review video below, you will know what I mean.
We received the medium, which is 20 x 20 x 7 inches and weighs 1 lb.
The foam sides are firm, but they give just enough for it to be comfortable. It has a soft, cushy inner pillow that makes it an inviting place to knead. Charlie makes biscuits on the cushy inner pillow all the time!
I like the natural the most because the bed seems to retain a lot of hair that won’t come off in the washer (see final review video to see what I mean) – and although I can pull it off by hand, I do not have the time to commit to that. So I prefer the Natural one because it hides that. This isn’t the bed’s fault, of course, it is my fault for not keeping things vacuumed.
I’ve machine-washed the whole bed now several times (the instructions say to only wash the inner cushion) and it comes out great every time.
It comes in the following colors:
- Natural (the one in this review)
- Coco (the one we reviewed previously)
You can buy the AlphaPooch Siesta Round Fleece Cat Bed on Amazon.com for $24.99 & it’s eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25.
We received the AlphaPooch Siesta Cat Bowl from the manufacturer. Receiving the free product did not influence this review.
