Trigg in the Napper Cat Den

You might recall reading our post about receiving the Alpha Pooch Napper Cat Den.  Alpha Pooch sent us the Napper Cat Den after we did a review of their Alpha Pooch Siesta Cat Bowl.

As suspected, the Alpha Pooch Napper Cat Den is just as classy and well put together as their Siesta Cat Bowl.

Trigg, my blue lynx mitted Ragdoll cat, was immediately attracted to it, especially when I told him it was made by the same folks that made his Siesta Cat Bowl.

The Napper Cat Den is a fabric covered foam shell that creates a den for your kitty.  The Cat Den we received is their Berry Branch Black fabric with Black Solid fabric on the inside.

The pillow that fits into the inside of the Den is reversible fabric and is filled with an eco friendly fiber fill made of post consumer soda pop bottles.  And this pillow is machine washable.

The Den measures 18″ x 18″.

Why I like this cat bed:

  • Provides shelter for your kitty
  • It’s good looking
  • It’s a bed I don’t mind having in my home (in other words, it fits in with my home’s decor)
  • It’s well made
  • The company is very eco-friendly by using eco-friendly products in their products
  • Trigg loves it!

Another great thing about this bed for cats is that it is reasonably price – you can buy the Alpha Pooch Napper Cat Den on Amazon.com for $29.99.

Here is a video I took of Trigg in the Den after about 1 week of having it:

i’m really liking this. It looks like it would be relatively easy to remove hair with a lint roller. Is it machine washable?

Terri,

I have not thrown the bed in the washer – my guess is that I would only throw in the pillow that’s at the bottom of the bed – it’s removable and washable – I just don’t know about the “den” part because of the foam – not sure if the foam would absorb the water from the washing machine. I’d ask AlphaPooch, but they are out of the office until after the new year. You might want to contact them and see if the entire bed is machine washable.

It’s really good looking and Trigg really likes it.

Thanks, Terri. His eyes were gorgeous the day I was taking those photos – the light was coming through the window just perfectly to make them not be red in a photo!

I love this cat bed, it looks nice and most cats would like it due to the security it provides. Isn’t it funny how sometimes we wish that animal products could be made for humans too? I for one would not mind having a human-sized bed frame like that!

Melody, if you really like the fabric, then I would suggest contacting AlphaPooch and seeing if you can buy some from them. I know they used to sell rolls of their Unreal Lambskin, for example.

Oh that is good to know for the future! The fabric would make a pretty pillow case amongst other things ^^
